Liqi Ma is an accomplished director, producer, designer, and photographer based in both Los Angeles, US, and Shanghai, China. With a diverse portfolio spanning films, photography, and graphic design, she is dedicated to creating work that explores and engages with societal issues.
Liqi holds a Master of Science in Television Production and Management from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Television, Radio, and Film from Syracuse University, with a minor in Art Photography. Throughout her academic journey, she has received numerous awards, including accolades at prestigious film festivals such as the Los Angeles Film Awards and the Cannes International Film Festival.
Liqi's professional experience includes key roles such as Assistant Producer at HTTV USA and Assistant Director at Dragon Television, where she honed her skills in production management and creative leadership. Additionally, she serves as the Executive Design Director for WeMedia Lab, managing content and social media efforts for Syracuse University’s official channels.
